Carolyne, Natalie and Nadine have been singing together as The Trio for the past five years worldwide at prestigious venues throughout Hong Kong, Shanghai, Malaysia, South Korea, Ghana, Egypt and Dubai.  Along with many engagements within the United States, the Trio opened for Tony-award winning Ben Vereen at the Newman Center for Performing Arts in Denver, Colorado as a preview of his Broadway show “Tenacity”.

Harvey & Carolyne Fuqua founded The S.T.A.R.S. in the year 2000. Harvey Fuqua was a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, founder of the Moonglows, founding member of Motown Records, discoverer and mentor of Marvin Gaye, The Spinners, Jr. Walker, Etta James and countless internationally recognized others. As director of Motown’s Artist Development department, Harvey was responsible for the presentation of all of the acts, and, if they are alive, they are still utilizing the skills he instilled in them.

For many years, Carolyne, as a member of a popular trio, shared the stage with such notables as Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Tom Jones and a host of others, performing in world renowned venues on three continents. As a songwriter and producer, Carolyne wrote for and/or produced many well-known performers, such as Gladys Knight, Della Reese, The Spinners and countless others.

Natalie has traveled the globe heading up bands of all shapes and sizes.  She has sung in front of major orchestras (e.g., Colorado Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Sinfonia Gulfcoast), headlined in Las Vegas, has been a New York and Los Angeles session singer and voice over artist and has starred on Broadway and in feature films opposite Oscar winner Denzel Washington.  Classically trained, as a lead vocalist and principal performer, she has graced the stages of the Houston Grand Opera and Central City Opera and her credits include originating the role of Andrea Devereaux in Once On This Island among others.

Nadine is regularly seen performing at venues worldwide, from Las Vegas to Lebanon, and has opened for the likes of Sheryl Crow, Dwight Yoakum & Vonda Shepard. She was in the original cast of Children of Eden with Stephen Schwartz in New York and in Washington D.C., she appeared at The Kennedy Center with Artist Director, Placido Domingo.

Together, this talented trio revels in the joy of creating unforgettable harmonies that touch and transform people’s hearts forever.
